Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

      We had another excellent dinner at Merriman's, one of our favourite restaurants. The service was exemplary (thanks Makenna) and the food was outstanding. I'm sad that the seating out by the water is now for people having dinner and not for drinks and appetizers only- we always loved arriving early and watching the sunset while having a drink.

      The views!! We got there for sunset and it did not disappoint. We were seated a little too close to the live entertainment but he was very talented. The tomatoes were so delicious! It was fun to try a shrimp pot pie as an appetizer. Fantastic server!!

      Everything was absolutely great. Barry was my waiter and he was perfect. This is the second time I've been there. And Barry has been the waiter both times. You couldn't ask for a better time and perfect service.

      Consistent high quality food and service. Has gotten spendy over the years but doable for a special occasion. It was our 39th wedding anniversary and they made it very special.

      Top 5 meal I've ever had in my entire life... And I'm pushing 40, so the sample size is statistically significant. 😀. Leah was an amazing server, the views of the ocean and breaching whales were breathtaking, and every food item surpassed our expectations. I won't detail all of the food we ordered, because they were all 5/5 rated, so I'm sure the rest of the menu would be the same. Just go, enjoy the ambiance, take in the views, and create a memorable experience.

      Amazing food. We both got macadamia nut crusted mahimahi, and it was the best we've ever had. The views of the sunset are fantastic. Bring sunglasses.

      Merriman’s is one of the best restaurants on Maui and for good reason. The views are spectacular and so is the food. This was my second time here. We came to celebrate my 40th birthday and the kitchen did not disappoint. I got the ribeye again and we also tried the taro hummus and oysters. I loved it all. I wish I would have had room for the bread pudding because that’s seriously the best dessert! Highly recommend coming here for any special occasions or just to celebrate life!
