   The food quality was good, however it lacked taste and it had no flavor. I wont be coming back

   It was a beautiful experience. The staff accommodated us inspite of an emergency at Santana Row on V day. The food, drinks and ambience was great! The lamb shank was the best!

   The Patatas Bravas and the Brussels sprouts were excellent. All the food was. Great vibe, and a great place.

   We have dined here several times in the past, but for Valentine's Day, it was not up to previous standards. A prixe fixed menu was offered, and the couple next to us were not properly served, and their polite attempts to correct the problem were not properly handled. As a result, several diners around became aware of the issue and actually applauded loudly when management FINALLY came out and corrected the problem. Our own food was obviously not cooked to Meso's usual excellent standards; the chicken was overcooked and tough. We were glad to see it busy, but we'll forego making this a "special" place when it appears management and staff get overwhelmed.

   Great experience and food from start to finish. Like the Brussels sprouts, brine chicken, eggplant, rice, and the beet salad with prawns. The dessert shaped like cigars were a closer.

   We had a wonderful time the food and wine were excellent. Loved the octopus, the steak, the branzino and the Nest desert was divine! Lovely space, nice lighting, lovely service. We will be back.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meso Modern Mediterranean on Santana Row in San Jose with friends who gathered from Kentucky, Livermore, San Francisco, and San Jose for a late lunch. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed, which really enhanced our dining experience. We started with some drinks, including their not-so-prickly margaritas, which were refreshing and perfectly balanced. The food was a highlight of our meal. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including: - Octopus was tender and flavorful, it was a great start to our meal, it was so good, we ordered another. - Meatballs packed with flavor. - Kebab: Juicy and well-seasoned, they were a crowd favorite. - Eggplant: A delightful dish that complemented our meal perfectly. - Fresh and vibrant salad added a nice crunch to our spread. - melt off the bone lamb shank was delicious - i garfed down the fileted branzino which was cooked to perfection.. - Pistachio ice cream was a sweet ending that was creamy and rich with the latte. - Cigar Baklava was a unique twist on a classic dessert that we all shared. The service was bar none--super attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. We also appreciated the free parking for two hours, which made our visit even more convenient. We used our inkind too, which was a nice bonus. Overall, Meso Modern Mediterranean is a fantastic spot for a gathering with friends or a special occasion. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere makes it a must-visit in San Jose!

    Good food options on the lighter side which was perfect for our group. We walked down Santana Row and this was probably the most busy restaurant and was not expecting this many people on a Thursday. Some food items stood out more than others, steak was good and the risotto would recommend those again.
