We made this reservation several weeks in advance. Got a babysitter, planned a date night out, etc. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we were informed by the hostess that because it is a “busy weekend” we would only be allowed to stay for 1 hour & 15 minutes. This was very frustrating considering nobody notified us of this ahead of time and we would’ve made a reservation somewhere else. If we are going to go to a nice dinner and spend a lot of money, I prefer to go somewhere and not feel rushed. The menu is one in which you really need a server that can help you dissect what to get, and our server seemed very rushed and busy. He was nice. I do not blame the server himself, but I think the restaurant should just allow for less reservations, rather than rushing the people who are already there. Overall it put a bad taste in my mouth and I probably will not return, even though the food was good.

Wonderful food counter seating is a plus if you’re into cooking.

Everything on this menu is great. Favorite item is probably shishitos stuffed with Wagyu.

Loved it, they were very busy but the manager and the bartender were accommodating. Will definitely be back! Loved my mock tails

I have been wanting to go to MF Sushi for years and just never made it. We’re so glad we went. It seemed more authentic than most sushi places we’ve been, and it was really good quality fish. We got lots of food and felt as if it was well worth the cost. I definitely intend to go back.

I go there for the Nigri. Top notch fresh fish which explains the pricing. I always go there if I’m craving sushi and I haven’t found any other place to compare it to. Top notch service and ambience. Eiman

The Uni and otoro were some of the best Ive had in the houston area. The bluefin tuna sashimi was good, but have had better in the area for the pricepoint. The wagyu was very good and priced well. Service was excellent and server was friendly with great recommendations.
