Situated in the heart of Merchant City, Mharsanta brings a taste of Scotland to you. We have a passion for using seasonal, local produce from Scotland and are here to ensure our guests have the very best experience from the moment you walk through the door.

We serve a variety of Scottish food from mussels and scallops to home cooked favourites including freshly landed fish and chips and steak and sausage pie. Our resident chef Dom and his team serve an array of culinary delights to suit every taste at affordable prices.

We are open 7 days a week from 12pm and offer a Dine In, Takeaway and Home Delivery service.

Indulge in a Steak ‘n Seafood Dining Experience for Two, crafted to tantalise your taste buds. At Mharsanta, expect nothing but the finest cuts of succulent prime Scottish Sirloin or Rib Eye steak, expertly grilled to your desired perfection. Accompanying the dish is a skewer of four juicy locally sourced garlic prawns, served with thick-cut chips, a roquette & Grana Padano salad, and your choice sauce. Complementing this culinary masterpiece is a bottle of Don Segundo Laderas Merlot or Los Tilos Sauvignon Blanc. The steaks are 100% Scottish salt-aged beef which is dry-aged for a minimum of 30 days, so you can expect each bite to be full of flavour.

Discover more about whisky through vision, taste and aroma at the contemporary Scottish restaurant Mharsanta, located in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City. Our reputation is based on priding ourselves on using great quality locally produced Scottish food and a warm welcome. Included are some Scottish delights that Mharsanta has to offer with our favourite sharing plates – MacSween’s Haggis Croquettes, Mini fish ‘n chips, Scottish Smoked salmon with oatcakes, Goat’s Cheese Croquettes and Wild Mushrooms on Toasted sourdough. The event lasts for 1 hour - 1.5 hours and is open to all ages, however, the whisky tasting is only available to those over 18 years old.

Excellent service and food was amazing. We both had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties to start. Silky smooth and full of flavour. Fish and Chips, Steak and Sausage Pie and Chips fir mains and both were incredible. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive. Food was outstanding! delicious! Would absolutely recommend! Will definitely be back. Excellent value for money

We arrived and were seated quickly, lovely server unfortunately I can't remember her name. She was very polite and friendly. Order taken efficiently and food was absolutely lovely. Was our 1st visit and definitely not our last. Thank you 😊

Visited Mharsanta midweek. Food was excellent as was the detailed menu. Service was also excellent. A very enjoyable evening with no negatives. Will be back.

Staff were great but unfortunately the food was only ok. The veg was cold and overall my dish not at level of what you’d expect eating out. My husband’s went for vegetarian dish and he was happier with his.

Food Excellent, Atmosphere Excellent, Value for money excellent, service almost excellent… everything perfect up till payment… took too long to wait for payment my partner left to see a friend outside and I was left waiting to pay for our excellent overall experience. We were a party of 5 and had plenty of space at our table. The service was great, gave us a few minutes to get settled then got our drinks order pretty quickly. I was really impressed that they don't have a mocktail menu because they can make you whatever mocktail you like! Got a beautiful strawberry daiquiri mocktail. The food was 10/10 for all of us, starter, main and dessert. All we're served pretty quick too. Price wise it worked out at £40 a head and that was for their lunch menu starter, main, dessert and we each had 2 drinks each so £40 each for all that is really good. We'll definitely be going back.

First time in Mharsanta and will definitely be back, the food was delicious and big potions. Service was great very relaxed and no rush to leave once we had eaten
