We loved the edamame dumplings, but really, everything we tried was delicious!

Glad to see a version of Mi Lah back in Philadelphia. The Ambler location takes a half an hour to get to. This is much more conveniently located for Philadelphians.

This was our second visit, for Valentines Day. It's in my 'hood and a BYO, which makes it a great value. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. While it says Tapas and Dim Sum, the emphasis is definitely Asian. I hope, and it deserves to be successful. I'm keeping it in regular rotation.

As someone who loves Asian food because it can be vegan, but in a way that doesn't just try to imitate a carnivore's diet, I was disappointed by the hit and miss nature of the food. Too many options on the menu were imitating meat products, or featured seitan, which I like, but my vegetarian friends I was dining with despise. The Tofu balls were nothing like what I expected, and tasted like weird 'cheese' stuffed meatballs. I was excited for the edamame dumplings, but they were a little dry, and the mixture could have used more texture as well (carrots perhaps?). Tamale was dry and bleh. I would recommend the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), cantonese dumplings (Har Gow) (I didn't like but my friends did), Ravioli (my favorite, very flavorful), Dan Dan Noodles (so good! just as good as Han Dynasty!).

Great new restaurant in our neighborhood. When the previous Italian restaurant closed at this site, we were very disappointed as it had been our go-to Italian place. We decided to try Mi Lah one evening, based on the first of its good reviews. We were not disappointed. We had two kinds of dumplings, some buns, spring rolls and a salad. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully displayed. And then we had yummy dessert: mango sticky rice and sweet potato custard. Both delicious! We will definitely be returning!

Everything was delicious! Especially Dan Dan noodles, edamame dumplings and curried tofu balls. Potions are larger than I expected.
