This is a perfect neighbourhood restaurant. Fresh food, excellent quality and good service. Every neighbourhood needs a local spot this great. Also iconic fashion images from the owners label from the 90's to look at. It's quirky and different. They are really nice to kids too.

I took my younger niece here for a celebratory birthday dinner, as she loves sushi. The food was delicious, very fresh and well proportioned, the staff delightful, and having given the nod when booking, created a birthday plate out of her Moochi, accompanied by acknowledgment of this by the staff. It’s fair to say that although the lighting is ambient and charming the restaurant does feel a little pared-back in design, but that is probably true to the Japanese aesthetic. The pricing is mid to upper, but the quality is definitely reflected by that. I would certainly recommend this restaurant, and Queens Park is extremely fortunate to have it.

Another great dinner, this time celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious, lovely presentation, friendly service. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

Overall very good. Tasty food, good service and good ambience. The only comments is the fact that you can’t order the regular sushi rolls separately( only special rolls are sold separately), unless you take a full set with items you are not interested in. Also there are no options for a poki bowl with cooked fish. Not everyone can eat raw fish.

Your reastaurant and food are lovely , we ordered some rolls which were clearly pre made prior to service - we arrived at 7 and ordered, tataki, tempura, salad, varying rolls. everything is great but and its a very big but; all of our food was delivered i one pile within 7 minutes of ordering - this is a restauarnt NOT. a fast food cafe, you nned to allow diners time, you need to be in contropl and space th food, the food was delicious but delivering a completely full table of food within 7 minutes was overwhelming, left us thinking you wanted us out as quicjly as possible - change your policies please

Absolute average food and really bad service. The staff just couldn’t handle the customers on Friday.

Never seen so much disfunctional staff. Food is just plain and average. You can get tasty and fresh sushi from a sushi chain. Service was appalling. The waiters didn't know which table to go to. Didn't know what we've ordered, didn't know how to explain the dishes at all... Quite disappointing as from the reviews it seemed like a blast but it's a show off with no quality. 140for a sushi party, wine and 2 cocktails. Sadly it's highly overpriced and overrated. Won't come again.
