Originally from Osaka Japan, fashion pioneer Michiko Koshino settled in Britain in the early 80’s becoming one of the most influential designers associated with the iconic London club scene.

This was my first visit to Michiko Sushino. The sushi was really good, and perfect temperature. My only complaint was that I ordered a Ramen and wanted grilled rather than Katsu chicken, and the restaurant was unable to accommodate this request. I was quite surprised as other Japanese restaurants have done this for me. I ended up ordering the pork Ramen but left the meat as it was very fatty. The stock and noodles were very nice. I will definitely go back and order sushi again.

We had a lovely experience at Michiko Sushino . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The waitress helped us chose our food and gave good suggestions. Food arrived in minutes . A definite to go place .

They reached out when I made the booking for a birthday celebration to suggest a dessert for the birthday person and asked for their name…so I agreed and chose the dessert. It was meant to be a surprise, but at the end when we were done the waitress asked if we wanted the bill and they forgot about the birthday dessert… so I had to remind them… and we waited over 20mins for it. But overall the food was so nice and the staff were so friendly

One of our favourite local spots always very good food and quite reasonably priced in view of the quality. Service is always fast and friendly. On this occasion they took the trouble to call me back and let me know the table was available earlier than the booking following my earlier request.

We had a confirmed reservation and showed up on time to enjoy a meal with the family only to arrive to closed doors (the restaurant decided to close that day, without informing us), thereby ruining our night (where were we supposed to find a family table after 8pm for the same night).

Booked for Christmas Eve many weeks before Christmas for a family dinner. Resturant said it was open on Google, OpenTable took the booking and even confirmed 24hrs beforehand. Turned up with my family and the restaurant was closed. No call from the restaurant and just horrendous communication and service.

This is a perfect neighbourhood restaurant. Fresh food, excellent quality and good service. Every neighbourhood needs a local spot this great. Also iconic fashion images from the owners label from the 90's to look at. It's quirky and different. They are really nice to kids too.
