   Had a date night with my wife and we had an amazing time.. Great food great service.. Might I add there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table..trust me that's a compliment as they were not needed.. Food was extremely flavorful… Bellisimo.. Hope I spelled that right🤪

   Excellent service! Very knowledgeable and attentive. Bread, olive oil and appetizers were exceptional. As were the wine and specialty drinks. The main entrees used top notch ingredients, were well-prepared and beautifully presented. However, they didn’t measure up to the hype of this restaurant having a James Beard award winning chef; nor did any of the 4 different entrees we ordered give our group the feeling we were back in Sicily dining out.

   We ate here for Dine Out Boston and loved the menu selections! The waiter and sommelier were incredibly attentive and had amazing recommendations. We will be back!

   The inside table layout seems to be focused more on fitting as many people in as possible than it is for comfort/experience. I am not sure what the intent is with the interior decor but there’s actually none and it’s just a loud dark room with a view of the open kitchen. It was kind of awkward with our server since no one could hear each other and she didn’t really greet us - just showed up to our table (we had barely even sat down)with her pen out and we didn’t know if it was time for drinks or food or both. No one was wow’d in any way by the food. We got the winter caeser salad, skirt steak, and the almond cake (all from the Boston diner out menu) then also ordered the cod picatta (menu said swordfish) and arancini. Don’t get me wrong I love cheese but almost every dish was covered in a mountain of fresh grated cheese and that was only disappointing since we couldn’t even see what we were eating. I wouldn’t rush to come back here again but if I did I’d consider ordering entirely new dishes all around and maybe go to a different location.

   Overall, we had a really great experience. Loved the duck wings in particular and the fact that thee mocktails were not basically as expensive as the cocktails as you see at many other restaurants in Boston.

   A fabulous restaurant tucked in the charming South End for delicious Italian food. All of the appetizers are so tasty and great to share. Highly recommend. The service is wonderful too.

    We had an awesome night out for dinner and drinks at Mida. The GM Ross was very attentive and friendly to his customers. He made us felt very welcome and made our dinning experience top notch. Mida is very lucky to have him running their restaurant! Food and drinks were excellent. Definitely will come back soon.
