I picked this place for lunch and made reservations for our party of six. Midtown Cafe was extremely busy but everything turned out to be perfect; the food, the fast seating and service. We all couldn’t stop talking about it when we left. We will definitely come back on our next out of town visit!

We enjoyed it tonight for a family celebration. We requested a quiet table and happily, the hostess managed to save us one in the entry nook to the right of the entrance. Memorable night.

Most places with such an expansive menu are not what you’d hope for; this place was quite the opposite. Great cocktails and reasonably priced wines. The lobster bisque was thick and luxurious. The entrees were fantastic including the Coca-Cola short ribs and the meatloaf. The carrot cake was special—a local bakery supplied dessert. Clearly a Nashville staple worthy of it vaunted place in local lore.

The blackened grouper was cooked to perfection, and you MUST get their signature lemon artichoke soup!! We definitely plan to return but to try either brunch or breakfast - and even return for dinner! Valet parking is free for lunch and dinner.

                                                                                  Our first time here and it was a phenomenal dining experience. The service was exceptional. We feel like we experienced true southern hospitality. The little biscuits served first which are homemade daily were delicious. We ordered the glazed pork chop with creamed spinach and broccolini. The presentation was beautiful and the portions very generous. The meal was perfectly prepared and every dish was scrumptious. Midtown Cafe certainly deserves the excellent reviews it has. We will dine here whenever our travels take us to Nashville. Don’t miss it!
