Our barbeque is familiar and still unlike any barbeque you have ever had. We pay homage to the many great pit masters who have gone before us and put our own kiss on every meal we serve. The approach is simple: source the best quality ingredients we can and donʼt fuss with them too much. We cook our barbeque the old school way with plenty of wood and time, adding just the right amount of salt and spice to let that lovely marriage of process and product evolve into something transcendent. I love BBQ food. We reserved a table for 3 which was convenient being it’s a kind of a small place. We already had an idea of what to order since we have visited the sister of this restaurant(Hometown BBQ in Brooklyn). I ordered the pulled pork with French fries which was fine. My partner ordered the ribs with coleslaw. Ribs were cold and coleslaw was bland. My other issue was the BBQ sauce. It was WATERY! You want the taste of the sticky ness and tangy flavor. Also it was in a glass bottle that looked like one of those water filters for rodents. I might go back or try another location just to see if there is a difference. And definitely bring my own BBQ sauce!

The food was very good - it was basically a buffet or similar setup as Chipotle - you point at what you want. Food is served in cardboard plates, plastic silverware and glasses. Got the feeling that this is more of a takeout/delivery place. The servers behind the counter were very friendly and informative - as I was not familiar with the beers they had, they gave me tastings of the ones I was interested in. The total lack of ambience was understandable as it was obviously not a place to enjoy a meal in.

HI I made a reservation for the restaurant on Sunday and found a cafe like setting. I didn't need the reservation and the service was super fast and easy. The food was delicious, I certainly enjoyed myself. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

This review is really a knock agains OPEN TABLE. The listing doen't tell you that its' a cafeteria style self-serve establishment with limited drinks with some in a self-serve refrigerator. If that's what you're looking for then fine. The food looked good and for another kind of night it might've been great but we were looking to sit down, get restaurant service and have a few cocktails. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OPEN TABLE misleading us and wasting our time. HOPE TO COME BACK TO MIGHTY QUINN'S for another kind of night out.
