Beginning with a few classic recipes culled from our chef’s family and friends, the menu captured the true spirit of Mexico. And its authentic style drew a loyal following of those in search of Sonoran grilled swordfish tacos, sizzling sirloin fajitas, and spicy rich chicken mole.

Over three decades, our signature friendly service and festive decor have made Miguel’s a San Diego tradition for locals and visitors alike. Our commitment to artisan cuisine has only grown stronger. Very disappointing dinner. The plates arrived hot, but the food was barely warm. The food was mediocre, not at all delicious. Mediocre drinks. Inattentive wait staff. Didn’t even offer us dessert even though they were informed we were celebrating 2 birthdays. Doubtful we’ll return.

Miguel’s is always a great place to eat and you’re never disappointed but this location truly is the best out of the Miguel’s.

Food was great, as it always is. My complaint/issue is with the service. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the hostess was cold and very unfriendly. The waiter treated us the same as the hostess and seemed almost bothered that he had to serve us. I will say the staff bringing the chips/salsa was very welcoming, warm and friendly. I have the waiter’s name if management is interested in learning how he treats the clientele of your establishment. This has not been the norm when I have visited before. But, this waiter seemed to treat the table next to us the same way. Maybe he was having a bad day, but still I left there somewhat shocked as to how we were treated.
