We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

I had a terrific time. The food was so tasty and expertly plated. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and our waiter Lenny was just so attentive and kind. Would absolutely come back for more!

Our first time at this restaurant. We had heard so much positive that we had it on our to do list. What a treat! We had a table overlooking the water. Food was phenomenal and our server, Christine, was the perfect server. We had the calamari, followed by Spicy Kaisen Udon and Traditional Sushi Lunch. The cheesecake was beautiful and delicious. We highly recommend this gem to all. It’s not easily accessible for the handicapped but a team member escorted us to the restricted access elevator.

Our server Lenny was so friendly and helpful. Both our server and food runner took time to explain every part of the menu, and the aspects to each dish we ordered. My partner and I are certain we’ve had some of the best cocktails and the best sushi at Miku. Quality is their specialty and their service is always impeccable. Especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day, everything ran smoothly for us and we were provided with a booth for the two of us which made dinner extra special! Thank you to the manager as well for responding quickly via email when I had questions about the set menu! Highly recommend their Aburi set, as it gives you a chance to try a variety of items, and for drinks the bergamot sour is a go to for a sweet yet balanced cocktail!

Very Great place! Been here before and they didn’t fail! Had a reservation booked with a good view and they placed me perfectly! Service was amazing with everything explained perfectly! Food tasted great and experience was top notch! Value wise was a bit steep I feel for what it had. Miku was known for their auburi and I did expect more auburi in the tasting menu. However for what its worth, I think I wouldn’t have any other complaints. Still worth the night out :) Thanks again Miku!

Great service. Food was excellent except for the oysters. We sat in the “back room” which isn’t as well appointed and echoed with noise it was difficult to hear.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The bites were extraordinary, and the ambience was truly unforgettable. Paul, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The culinary offerings were exceptional, meticulously crafted, and generously portioned. The staff members were prompt and knowledgeable about their menu items. I am highly impressed and intend to incorporate this restaurant into my future dining itinerary.
