London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

The room transitions from a modern dining space during the day to an intimate candlelit hideaway away in the evening, where you can enjoy our classic cocktails accompanied by our seasonal, 100% plant-based menu. Minimum spend: £600 for lunch. Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

                                                  Mildred’s is a victim of its own success. The food was excellent but the experience was chaotic. We had a reservation but had to wait for quite some time in a queue in a very confined space for a table. We were eventually seated near the door amongst the people queuing and with the door constantly opening; it was extremely noisy, cramped and cold. The tables by the door should be used for walk-ins and not allocated to people who have made a prior reservation.

                                                  Really nice food and good service. Don’t choose to sit in the booth nearest to the door. It was incredibly cramped for four people and the door to the outside was constantly left open by customers coming and going. So the freezing temperatures outside made us very unpleasant. The restaurant should really invest in a proper spring hinge that closes the door, rather than relying on people to pull it shut after themselves.

                                                  Tilly and Christian made our day today. Friendly and so informative of the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes.

                                                  Love Mildreds and the food, they always cater for coeliacs. However we were seated on the top floor which got incredibly busy. We were hemmed in and had to get diners to move out of theirs chairs whilst they were eating in order for us to get out. The waiter also had problems getting to our table, but he was very efficient and managed to deliver our food and drinks ok.

                                                  Always love this place, it never fails to disappoint and yesterday’s lunch was once again, delicious! Staff are attentive, warm and happy.
