I’ve had another location before, but I was really excited about eating here being that it’s now so close to home. The food was overall good, it met my expectations. However our waitress needed more training. She was very forgetful/clueless. There were also some discrepancies with the menu and pricing. Be sure to review your checks before leaving because they will slap items on your bill that you didn’t receive!! I would rate this location 7/10

food choices a little limited but what they serve is quite good- thumbs up on the chicken and waffles (go with the wings) - French toast was banging and had a nice crispy edge to it. They really should upgrade to real maple syrup, IMHO. Blackened salmon blt was also very tasty. a bit loud and chaotic as crowd grew but comfortable enough.

Fabulous! From the Service, Ambience and Food! OMG the Food! Sweet potato waffles and 3 gorgeous tasty perfection chicken wings fried! Egg Vegetable scramble! Gracious the portions! The perfection of the taste in this hidden Colonial Heights gem! No matter the distance just go just go and eat for yourself!! The menu is so delectable a decision is difficult but whatever you choose the portion will be large and delicious!

The hostess took great care in making sure we got the table we wanted. The food was amazing. We cleaned our plates 😁

The cleanliness of the restaurant was good. The food was good. We got shrimp and grits and catfish and grits. Our only complaint with the food was the grits were not hot they were lukewarm. Now the service needs to be better we sat for about 12 minutes before pur server came to greet us. Then all we asked for, for drinks was coffee and water. That took about 15 minutes. Coffee was nit hot. The server, she did nit seem very smiley ir friendly.

We genuinely enjoyed all the good! The service was not good, but the GM was onsite and she was very attentive and apologetic.

They wouldn’t honor our reservation and said that only reservations that were made in person would be honored. Returned to the restaurant a few days later during the week when they were nearly empty. Waited over ten minutes to be seated only for them to say they were out of chicken and a few other items. Won’t be giving them another chance. Service is poor all around.
