The tacos and happy hour margaritas were amazing. The papas bravas were an amazing starter. The ceviche was nice but the tangy-ness of the aquachile became overpowering after a while.

Amazing food and gorgeous interior. Loved everything but the quesabirria tacos were so incredible we wish we had only ordered those. Highly recommend!

Server was excellent at working with the kitchen and our food restrictions, reviewing each item and how it could be modified to suit our needs. Food was delicious as always

My husband chose Milpa for his birthday meal. We went on Taco Tuesday. We tried every taco ordered. The service was great and our server was delightful! The tacos were all delicious. We followed up with their mole chocolate cake, which was dark and delicious. Then our waitress brought out a donut and dip on a plate where they had written Happy Birthday with chocolate sauce. What a treat! We'll be back

Milpa continues to be a top notch food destination in Calgary. The flavors, combinations and presentation are all worthy of praise. What doesn't excite me is slow service on a Monday night with less than 8 tables in the restaurant. We waited an extended amount of time for refills of margaritas (well over 10 minutes in one case) and empty items left on our table. I had brought in a new customer and although wowed with the food, they were less than impressed with the service.

I went on a Friday night and had a reso. The server wasn’t overly nice nor rude but just looked like she wasn’t happy to be there. As a customer I expect ppl to at least smile and pretend to be nice as they are expecting a 18% tip after.

Pros: the margaritas and ceviche were delicious. The interior decor is beautiful; I love the arches and colors. Cons: The tacos menu is very limited (unless it’s Tuesday. It wasn’t.) The food was late due to a printer issue in the kitchen that went unnoticed for quite a while. We were not compensated. Instead we were given a 10% off coupon for next time.
