   While we enjoyed the food and general occasion we weren't pleased with how cold it was where our table was located. I did ask the waitress if she cut turn on the heater over the door but she said it wasn't working.. She did however turn on a small white fan heater that was on the floor behind me. It didn't really help as we were both perished and left once we'd eaten our meal.

   Mimosa is our favorite restaurant; it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the wine selection is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. We love everything about this place and visit regularly.

   Food was enjoyable but front of house and the girl that met us to show to our table was beyond rude. This set the tone for the entire evening. We were a few minutes late and I apologies for same upon arrival and she said I should’ve rang and left a message if I couldn’t get through! I advised her that I let the restaurant know via the automated message that we were on the way! She then proceeded to tell us when we needed to leave by, cutting it short by15 minutes! Her attitude and manner was completely rude and unnecessary. I am a long standing customer who remembers mimosa from its very first days in Carlow and have supported it all down through the years but this type of attitude by front of house staff is totally unacceptable. It would make me consider not returning. The food is not that amazing to have ti put up with that behaviour when on an evening out for dinner!

   Hi Mary Thanks for your comments - firstly let me point out that you were not a few minutes late , you were 20 minutes late for a table of 2 that has a 2 hr allocation so timing is quite important on busy nights ! If you do not message us to let us know you are running late then we send you a prompt to remind you that you have a booking - everyone can run late ,but communication solves all this so we can move your table to accommodate your lateness - we are back to back with bookings & have responsibilities to the next table that has booked also to ensure their table is ready on time . We have no idea when someone is running late if they do not contact us to know if they are late or a no show , very frustrating when you are trying to meet everyones changing needs on a busy night !

   Mimosa is a place we have eaten in many times over many years. I looked forward to it before even entering the restaurant tonight because this is a place where you can be assured of a high quality of food. Tonight was no different. The tastes and flavours of the food were so good. Our favorite's tonight were the halloumi sliders and the cod tacos. The desserts we had -a coconut and lime baked cheesecake and baileys panettone pudding were a delicious treat at the end of our meal. The staff and the service were also excellent. I would highly recommend a visit and I look forward to our return.

   Outstanding. Absolutely my favourite place to go to. The best food and great selection of wine. Amazing flavour combinations you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Very friendly and caring staff. Looking forward to come again soon. Thank you so much.

   We had a delightful evening at Mimosa’s food was tasty and well presented. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive service that made the night really good.

    Everything was perfect except the girl taking our order was too busy talking to the table beside us and took there order first even though we were there before them and were just sitting there waiting. In fact a lovely girl asked her would she take our order and she said no…

    Hi Understand completely the frustration - you might not have been in that girls section & section waiters are very possessive of their areas as they are the only ones who know what's going on . Then section waiter of your section is the only one who takes the order - anyone can serve the table food & drinks but taking the order is a different matter as the SW has studied the table plan of their area - knows the birthdays , & more importantly allergies etc
