   This seemed like a 50% Miracle Pop Up and 50% hotel restaurant; not what I have come to expect from the festive, kitchy and fun Miracle Pop Up. The bar did have some decorations and the festive Miracle menu offered the fun cocktails in the vintage mugs and glasses. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. So all of that went well. The service offered was "ok". My sister is talking a special medication for cancer and is unable to drink alcohol. She ordered a hot chocolate. The drink came a full 10 min before my beverage and was served in a normal bar mug. I was hoping for the fun Miracle experience of having the beverage in a festive mug and that we could share the moment together...but we had to wait an uncomfortable amount of time for my beverage to arrive. It's a small thing, but I also missed the popcorn. In short, it felt more like having a drink in a hotel bar than a Miracle experience. Next year I think I'll head on down to Union Station for the authentic Miracle experience.

   The decor was nice but nothing special. Our server was friendly but service itself was incredibly slow! Waited to receive our very expensive cocktails (small but tasty) for almost 20 minutes. Had to track someone down to pay our bill. Just wasn't the pop-up bar experience I was looking for.

   Unfortunately they did not decorate it as a Miracle Bar as in the past and as depicted at their website. Last year it was magical, this year was a Christmas tree and some wrapping paper taped up on the walls-very disappointing. They were short staffed, we had one waitress for the room that was supposed to be the "Miracle Bar", she had close to 9 tables in this room plus was serving tables in the regular restaurant. there were at least 50 people just in the Miracle Bar room. So very slow service. The staff all were very nice. Again, a real disappointment, especially since we had built the experience we had last year up to our out of town guests that were with us.

   This is our second year coming here and it’s always a fun vibe. We weren’t aware of the time limit and a staff member who was not our waitress informed us of the time limit 30 minutes before we were supposed to leave and we had just ordered food and a drink. She then came back and told us the party after us had arrived while we waited for the things we’d purchased, as if that was our problem. Just not great service from her. Our waitress was lovely and didn’t rush us at all but the other lady could learn a thing or two about customer service, especially at the holidays. Probably won’t be back just because of her.

   Had originally planned to go somewhere else but decided to go to The Eddy instead. So glad we did! A fun night with great food and service.

    We attended the Miracle Bar Christmas pop-up bar in the Eddy Hotel lobby bar/taproom. Food was excellent and drinks were good. We were never rushed like we have been when enjoying the event in other locations. All the severs were busy and working hard but efficiently to fulfill everyone’s orders with a friendly attitude! While the Eddy was not as highly Christmas kitsch decorated as other locations we’ve been, it was relaxed and comfortable, and we recommend the Eddy in general for year round stays.
