The service started out great but later in our meal we did not receive good service. I ordered another cocktail after completing my first and never received it. After waiting 15 minutes before seeing our server, she noticed it never arrived however I asked for the check and to cancel my drink order as I was already finished with my meal. It took another 15 minutes to leave as after the check was brought out I was waiting for my credit card to be charged. Wasn’t impressed for the nearly $300 brunch experience we paid for.

Fidelmar service was excellent! After a slow beverage order everything picked up quickly. The food at Miru is always good and last night didn’t disappoint. We will be back.

We were expecting an outstanding experience. The restaurant is beautiful The food was good. The crunchy ric had mushy tuna instead of fresh tuna. It’s tough because Japanese food in Chicago is usually very good so we are spoiled.

Can not believe I paid $95 per person plus tax and gratuity for what we were offered. I honestly have second hand embarrassment for this establishment. Upper class vibes, sure, but that's not how we were treated. Had a reservation at 12:30PM, but it seemed as though brunch was over and they were about to close. They weren't, but that's how it felt. It took about 15 minutes for a server to greet our table. The buffet was picked over and dishes were empty and not being replenished. The buffet itself was EXTREMELY SMALL. We were under the impression that the choices were "endless" and the Christmas buffet vibe was going to be more upbeat and fun. There was no vibe. It was quiet and awkward, the music was so low I could hear a pin drop. Our table was not set properly: no soy sauce, no salt pepper.. when I asked for this the buffet crew said "it's at your table", like I lied about it. I explained that it wasn't and they said they would send someone over, that took another 15 minutes. One of the buffet managers that was just standing there watching over us said that more food was coming at 2:00PM. She must have seen my face. 2:00?!!??? She said this when we went up for seconds at about 1:00PM, hoping that the sushi, bacon, mashed potatoes or anything that was running low would be replenished because it was empty the first time we went up. I'm confused: did we just get screwed?? Why would you have a 12:30PM reso if you didn't plan on replenishing anything from 12:30pm to 2:00pm???!!!! I spent $95 on some eggs, hard/stale hashbrowns, one piece of bacon, and one piece of nigiri. We left by 1:30. We were there for 1 hour with a $250 tab (we were going to finish our brunch with espresso martinis but our waitress never came back), but I'm still unsure what we even paid for and who our tip was for. We ate scraps. I could have easily spent my hard earned $250 literally anywhere else and had a better experience. DO NOT come here for any type of "all you can eat/buffet". SCAM.

The food, service and ambience were superior. Rather expensive for the somewhat limited selection but still excellent.

The portion sizes were too small. Not filling at all. Good ambience and service. Wouldn’t recommend for lunch or dinner. It’s okay for the in between meal times
