    Sadly we wanted to try the whole fried chicken . My bad, they were only serving brunch and my reservation was for 1:30. Checking out today so the manager did manage to have the chef accommodate us and made buttermilk fried chicken with biscuit a la carte. Chicken was juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. Wow! The biscuit was amazing. Will have to come back for the whole fried chicken.

    If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further! This restaurant has it all—amazing live musicians that set the perfect mood with 50s-style outfits and delightful tunes, creating an atmosphere that takes you back in time. The tile floors, mirrored glass bar, and details beyond details make this an incredible delight for ambience! The drinks were exceptional, with a Bloody Mary bar and champagne cart adding extra flair to the experience. But the true showstopper was the flaming espresso martini cart—it was simply unforgettable! Our server, Michael, was an absolute gem. He anticipated every need with professionalism and warmth, making the entire experience seamless and special. Ironically, we come for GALentine’s weekend every year, and Michael has been our server annually! And the food—wow! Every dish was out of this world (sweet potato brioche with sugar cane butter, blue crab au gratin and house-made crackers, ham and beignet board), leaving us craving more. From start to finish, the attention to detail and top-tier service made this one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. So much so that we come back every year! Highly, highly recommend!

    Service was amazing! We loved the atmosphere!! All of the food was great except my husband NY strip steak was very tough and he was unable to eat it. We enjoyed the most amazing baked Alaska.

    We are frequent diners at Saba and wanted to try Miss River for my husband's birthday brunch. This was not a pleasant experience. We had made a reservation, but they wanted to seat us in the hallway next to the musicians. We objected and they seated us at a table in the bar area. The hostess was apologetic that a better table was not available. Perhaps because of this, the service was not good. We were never asked how our meal was and my husband could not get a refill on his coffee. We chose not to do the tasting menu and ordered the crab omelette and the eggs florentine. The eggs were very good, though the egg whites were not fully cooked. The omelette was disappointing- The eggs seem to be pre-cooked and then folded over the crab. This was served with a small side salad and no toast or potato. We chose not to linger or get dessert. Since they knew we were celebrating a birthday they did offer some delicious pralines. In the end, brunch at Miss River is an odd combination of a hotel breakfast restaurant trying (and failing) to be a fine dining experience. It is probably better at dinner, but those hallway tables are still not great.
