Food we got was excellent…..service was brutal……had reservations, took 30 minutes to get water, another 15 minutes for drinks, an hour for the chef to get to our table, never got our soup, never were given any sauces…… overall the worst service we have had at a restaurant in a long time, luckily the food was good but the poor service ruined it for us

Food was excellent- Filet Mignon, Scallops, Shrimp. Cut steak with a FORK. Scallops were prepared perfectly. Our chef was very friendly and enjoyable, without being loud and obnoxious. Service was a little slow, but fine considering it was Valentine's Day.

The entertainment was excellent. Engage all patrons, young and old. The atmosphere was great. Going at 5:00 didn’t have many customers as the 6:00 diners. For the amount of money they charge they could have linen napkins and regular size forks or have 2 forks available so you have a choice. They need to upgrade entertainment and customer comforts. They’ve been in the same building for years. No upgrades that are noticeable. With the prices they have charged over the years, the owners certainly can upgrade to linen napkins at the very least.

A great experience, excellent food to match! It was an exuberant atmosphere with the chefs doing their thing (which was a blast!) so if you're expecting a low-key quiet space, you might look elsewhere. For special occasions I'll definitely keep this place in mind.

The restaurant is a little overpriced but the entertainment and quality of food is excellent Service is very good.

It was cool. A little pricier than other hibachi places I’ve been too. And weird thing is the chef insisted on us tipping cash eight after he cooked and this was not established in the beginning, good thing I have a little cash. I still tipped through the bill but I felt it was a little rude he insisted.

We had the best family date night! Our chef was amazingly and very entertaining. We will definitely return.

Food was good but we sat at the table waiting for the chef for about an hour. At around the hour mark we were getting up to leave and the chef did finally come over. He must have been new or unsure of what techniques he wanted to use so the performance was a bit of a fumble. Would come back for the food but not the chef or service!

This is probably the best Mizu location I have been to. They actually did a real show and the guests were involved. My toddler loved the show. My mother in law has not been a fan of any restaurants in America during her visit but she finally liked the food at this one. Overall it was a great night and we all left with smiles and full bellies with leftovers. We will definitely come back to the covington location.
