The uni pasta special is so delicious and the waygu melts in your mouth! The king of kaiju drink is sooooo good! Cute bathrooms and such a great place for a night out and cocktails. Best modern Japanese food and right in Tyson’s corner! We hate having to go all the way to DC to get modern Japanese so glad Modan opened!

A great place to have a dinner date or a group event. The ambiance and decor is wonderful. The food has great flavor! We tried the filet mignon, lamb chops, chicken kararage and a few sushi selections. The price was semi-fair for the given location of McLean. The service needs a bit of improvement regarding a few things: each person ordered their own dish but all dishes came staggered, one person started eating their dish and the other would receive theirs 3-4 minutes later. We were not told this would occur. We asked for Diet Coke and spicy mayo sauce 3 times each until I had to track down a different waiter. Overall my group and I had pretty good experience.

Sushi is not at a premium level, or even close but pricing is. There are much better sushi restaurants in the area. Sushi bar is poorly conceptualized..it's like sitting facing a wall. Bar vibe is good if you are looking for bar.
