   Disappointing to be told we had to leave because they needed the table, but we warned about that possibility when we made reservation. Service was extremely professional, food was amazing and love music created great ambience. Would definitely come here again

   The experience was amazing!! We really enjoy the food, the “confit duck” is amazing. We really like the food, the service was great!! Definitely the best place to go.

   The food? Chef’s kiss. Absolutely delicious—no complaints there. But the service? Let’s just say the attitude came chilled… like the red wine. We asked a simple question—“Do you have any red wine that isn’t cold?”—and you’d think we asked them to stomp the grapes on the spot. The waiter served us a side of snark with our meal, which was a bit of a buzzkill for an otherwise great dinner. Modavie nails it in the kitchen, but maybe someone should remind the staff that hospitality is supposed to be warm… unlike our Merlot.

   Great food, was a little warm inside initially. Live music was very good and Tyler had great wine recommendations.

   Beautiful ambience, the music and service was amazing. The pasta was bland, the cut of steak for the steak frites was disappointing, there was no grilled vegetables or anything with it either, standard french fries. You're probably better off coming here just for a drink and an appetizer.

   Modavie stands out as a truly exceptional dining experience in Montreal. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant exudes a wonderful ambiance, perfectly complemented by the delightful music. The meal itself was fantastic, a testament to the quality of the food. Furthermore, the service was excellent, with our server Sunny providing truly awesome attention. Based on this experience, a return visit to Modavie is definitely warranted.

   Great spot of live jazz ,Sinatra and classic lounge music. I sat at the bar. Bartenders were great. door selection of cocktails and extensive wine list. The lamb chops were very good. Perfect scene for a nice night out.

    Whenever I’m in Montreal, I come here. Always great food and the live Jazz is awesome. The Duck is so good here.
