Four key pieces separate us from a traditional steakhouse.

1) We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put into produce our beef. We like our beef to be, hormone & antibiotic free and pasture raised. Happy cattle make for better steaks.

2) We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

3) We use an 1800o Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. Our grill stays at very consistent high heat versus a traditional open flame grill. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

4) Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palate for a steakhouse. We broke the mold and decided to add hand selected music that reflects us!

We had a phenomenal experience or this evening I myself had the striploin steak. With the truffle french fries and sauteed mushrooms mix. Mistake pretty much melted in the mouth tasted delicious as did the truffle french fries and the mushrooms on top. My fiance also had the strip loin steak but she had the brussel sprouts to go with that. And our grandfather had a chicken dinner all of the meals were phenomenal we will definitely suggest this place to other people and we will be going back again ourselves

Super staff and our food was totally delicious! We did the Weds date night deal, which is such great value. Thanks for a tasty night out!

Steak was not cooked as we asked for. Medium rare came out well done. Risotto was overly salty. We had a darling waiter. Date night is a great value but when the food isn’t up to par you feel ripped off

Our server was very attentive and friendly. When we complained that our steak was over done, she made sure that it was returned and we received another steak and it was then cooked to our satisfaction. The manager was also aware of this and apologized for the inconvenience.

Exceptional service! The staff are always very helpful and attentive. Our dishes were excellent. We chose the Parmesan Risotto and The potato as side dishes.

The meal was excellent. The best Caesar salad we had ever had and I liked creaminess of the Bernaisse sauce. The birthday card was also a very nice touch. We had a lovely time!

Great lunch at Modern. Ceviche, Wagyu Burgers & Caesars. Worth every penny as the food is always great and the service is always top notch!

Great food and service. Sunday dinner was quite which afforded us an attentive staff. Lol As usual, we enjoyed our experience.

Our server was incredible! Food was delicious. Steaks cooked to perfection. Side variety very stimulating. Pricey....but good special occasion worthy for sure!
