   We live coming to the Racetrack for races and dinner. Disappointed that the buffet is no longer a thing. This is the reason we would come. Our waitress was no the best, but it is what it is

   Just like so many times at harvest kitchen the food was average at best. The service is almost always very good but the food???? We ordered a Caesar salad to start and although it was good they put a giant crouton that was as hard as ceramic tile in it, easy to remove by design I hope. Then we had what they call hickory smoked chicken pot pie and only the name has the hickory smoke or chicken in it. It wasnt terrible by any means but it never came in a POT or a Ramiken or a high sided bowl, it came in a shallow wide bowl spread out like a soup and a top hat of pastry that barely covered half . I cant see how this place has so many good reviews, the people next to me ate half of their nachos and werent happy the people below us ordered Organic fish and chips and 3 out of 3 never finished one piece. If they ever get the kitchen and food figured out the place would be a great spot to eat for people that arent interested in the horses as well but its a fail again.

   Our group of 7 make an annual business trip to Toronto and take in the races and dinner at Woodbine Mohawk. The food is average at best and it takes long to get food. Last night, we waited for 50 minutes from the time we ordered. The liquor selection is very limited.

   Food took forever to come out because apparently there was a large group in the suites. They should be able to time manage better. Why do I have to suffer while the other group gets served. Food was underwhelming after waiting so long

   Grove salad and ceasar salad are not appetizing at all. The dressings had a bad after taste. To substitute fries for a salad is an extra $6.00! That’s outrageous to make a healthy choice. $2.00 would be ok but $6.00!!!’ Service was great.

   Limited menu, slow service, food not so good. Honestly, we like the ambience, have been coming 4-5 times per year from Montreal, considering having dinner elsewhere before the races.
