Le Momotaro, petit dernier du Boka Restaurant Group, est un restaurant japonais multi-dimensionnel situé à West Loop. Géré par son chef exécutif Mark Hellyar, le Momotaro a récemment été élu Restaurant de l'année par le Chicago Magazine et le Chicago Social. Conçu par le décorateur mondialement célèbre AvroKO, le restaurant possède également un izakaya au sous-sol ainsi qu'un élégant espace privé au deuxième étage qui surplombe la salle à manger principale. Food and service outstanding as well as relative value for what you are getting, it is unfortunate that the overall experience really depends on who they seat you next to. The seating isn’t remotely private and others seem to enjoy making their business yours. We tried not to let that damper our anniversary celebration.

The food is always excellent-Flavors and presentation. Would recommend the cocktails, and the Mapo tofu.

The team at Momotaro was excellent at helping to accommodate an allergy. Food was excellent, and the space is beautiful.

My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays at Momotaro and had a great time! They have a special birthday menu and surprised us at the end of dinner with complimentary cream puffs, it was definitely a treat :)
