Momoya is the perfect place for lunch with a group of coworkers. Sit at a table and choose from a menu with Kitchen Entrées like Teriyaki, Scottish Salmon or Grass-Fed Rib Eye. Noodle dishes are served with wasabi seaweed tempura and oshinko. If you come solo or with a partner, you can find a seat at the sushi bar. The extensive sushi menu features entrées such as the eight-piece sushi, tuna roll or the 15-piece sashimi. Momoya is family friendly and has seating adequate for children. Your choice of Miso soup or salad comes with lunch specials. Beverages include an international wine list as well as specialty cocktails like the Gin Ray or the Momo splash created with peach sake, rose champagne and orange juice.If you are not able to dine-in or just prefer to dine at another location, Momoya offers both delivery and take-out options.

You want high quality Japanese food? Momoya is it. I go to the one on Amsterdam on the UWS. Beautifully prepared and fresh snd delicious food. You would think you were in Japan. You can always tell the quality of the sushi by the toro. This tor was divine. Also, the shrimp vegetable tempura was light and perfectly cooked. And delicious. The shumai, fughetaboutit! Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to my next meal there.

So the interior is great and our best part of the experience was sitting at at the bar waiting for the table. The bar tender was so nice and courteous. They let us try a couple sakes to pick the one we liked and the 2 seat bar had the best ambiance. The table was nice and clean, but the service didn't feel personable. Most importantly the quality of the sushi was subpar, my partner and I were feeling "meh" about it. The best thing we has was the the crispy rice. I have been here a couple times and we came back for a reason, but I don't know anymore

Excellent service and great food. Very fresh sushi and sashimi and the green tea ice cream is the best I’ve had.

Momoya is our go-to for sushi on the Upper West Side. The Momoya black cod roll is such a treat! Other faves are the crispy rice roll and the crispy salmon roll. The dining room is pleasant and service is prompt and friendly.
