Mona is a place to come together with friends and family.
The philosophy is pure and simple:
every dining experience is an opportunity to connect,
converse and immerse yourself in the flavours of Italy.
Our concept is inspired by the Venetian tradition of cicchetti – mouthwatering,
"little bites" designed for sharing.
Traditionally cicchetti must be accompanied by an “ombra” (shadow),
a little glass of wine.
This tradition finds its roots in Venetian Merchant’s brilliance when they placed
benches in the shadow of St. Marco Bell Tower
so the wine stayed cool and cichetti soaked up the wine.
At Mona, we offer a wide selection of beautiful wines and plates to share,
allowing you to enjoy dining "cichetti" style.

This is not a fine dining restaurant but a rustic Italian experience We chose a selection of Cicchetti dishes to share as we did not wish to have a big meal. The meal offerings are posted on their website & there were specials of Sydney rock oysters & swordfish Our waiter was a delightful young man whose family came from Sardinia We recommend this restaurant for those seeking a casual Italian dining experience

Very pleasant ambience but music much too loud to make it relaxing. Maybe not for older people and couples, better for large groups. Food was quite nice.

Amazing food and the owner and his colleagues made it feel as if i was in Italy for a moment. I can only recommend this restaurant. The food was on point, so was the wine and the location was great.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Mona Cicchetti We were greeted by 2 lovely men The food was magnificent but my only complaint is we ordered the Feed Me and it all came out together Way too fast Some items were cold before we got around to eating them I would like the plates to be a bit more staggered
