We were excited to try Monarca and made an appointment on OpenTable. We showed up at our reservation time to find that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Please update your OpenTable listing to prevent such inconveniences for your patrons in the future.

Showed up to our rsvp to find out they didn’t have a table for us, so they sat us at a bar table in the back w very little ambiance, lots of A/C noise, with a promised free appetizer. Food was mid, shrimp in ceviche seemed frozen, and was not given a free appetizer.

Food was delicious and great service. We were seated right next to the outside wall, so it was pretty chilly, but otherwise great.

Extremely helpful. The chef created something custom for my daughter to accommodate her diet needs. The food was excellent. The waiter was amazing. They greeted my daughter with a smile and "happy birthday!" I'll be going here again, no doubt.

Food was good. Service was good. Nothing special but we are eating downtown; But it’s SLC. There are not a lot of options on Open Table.

I wish I could actually review this place, but unfortunately they were closed did not honor our reservation for 4 at 11:45 am on Sunday for brunch. Huge disappointment as this was to be a celebratory brunch with friends.
