Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! We were a little disappointed with monkey pod this evening. We had previously eaten at the Wailea Location and our memory serves us that it was a much superior experience. We ordered a pizza and wings, our pizza came out barely warm while the wings did not show up until after we were completely done our pizza. Our server had to hunt them down. He did comp the wings which was super kind, but was disappointing. The wings came out sadly also very disappointing, our neighbours winds were crispy with color, ours were very pale with no crisp. Our drinks were just ok, but my Mai tai tasted nothing like the one I had in Wailea as well as the white walker. This was sadly just not a good experience for us, it is sad as we had such fond memories of such a lovely monkeypod experience on Maui. We do have to say, our server was absolutely fantastic! And the live music was absolutely lovely.

We went there for lunch to see the band; however, they were not seating anyone near the band. It wasn’t crowded, but they just did not want to take care of tables near the band. We were seated 15 feet away, but could not really see the band from our table. Food was OK, but the service was poor, and it was fairly expensive for lunch.

Placed orders. After order notified out of items ordered. Hairs in soup. Lack of vegan options. Not willing to modify items such as pasta to order without meat.

The food was really great, and the service was equal to that. Big place, a little bit crowded, but good ambience and experience all around. Fun place.

予約の際に海側の席をリクエストしていましたが、案内されたのは一番奥まった席でした。たしかに当日の状況によってはリクエストに応じられないとの注意書きはあったのですが、我々が滞在していた時間帯、海側の席はガラガラでしたので理解不能です。サービス精神のかけらもない店です。味も全く美味しくなく、30分で退出しました。

If you are interested in a (relatively) quiet place where you and your table mate[s] can talk, go elsewhere. The music was SO LOUD, along with the ambient noise in a very LARGE place, that it was impossible to communicate and also impossible to discern what was being played. There has to be a way to have nice music in a lovely setting (which it is) without making the whole experience memorable as misery.

Amazing live singer. Killer views. Our server was excellent. But our food was very ‘meh’. The ahi taco appt was good. But everything else wasn’t bad, it was edible, but just meh: chicken wings were not hot enough and could have been more crisp, the mushroom truffle pizza was tasty but I have had 100x better elsewhere - could have used a bit of fresh arugula or kale sprinkled on top to make it look and taste better, the fresh fish sandwich was good, but the fish was too small for the bun and the kimchi style slaw seemed out of place when there was already a different slaw in the sandwich. Our table of 8 left happy with the vibe (music was sooo good), but we all agreed the food was a let down.
