    Need to have a better selection of beers and there were half a dozen young men that came in to order takeout, they appeared that they were intoxicated and were standing near our table being quite loud. Service was ok .

    Service was amazing, food was instant even with seeing though it made fresh right in front of us. Staff were all happy to be there this mixed with the professional service and beautiful delivery of the venue means me and my partner will definitely be frequenting Monte Lane in the future- highly recommend even if you don’t drink alcohol, this is more than just a wine bar.

    I can’t believe after 8 years of living in Ipswich our last night before we travel that we hadn’t ventured here before. Food amazing, service great, cost excellent ambience great. What a great place to unwind and meet up with friends on a Friday night. Highly recommend

    We were celebrating my daughter's career achievement. They had a trivia night the announcer had a booming voice generally but with a microphone I could not even hear my daughter speak. We ordered a shate plate as soon as we arrived, it was very tasty. We tried order pizzas via the QR code 18.59 and our order was rejected. We were not told that the pizza section closed at 7pm. So overall the evening was very disappointing.

    Everything was great except for the area out back where we were seated. Very dingy Would request NOT being seated there next time. Also came for the crumpets specifically- only to find they were sold old.

    Food is great - authentic Italian cuisine. The birds outside in an evening are so loud it is piercing! They are so loud it is hard to hold a conversation from the tables in the alley
