   Just enjoyed a celebration dinner here with my family. The food was fresh and delicious! Our favorites were sticky ribs, red miso marinated black cod, pork chasu ramen, szechuan green beans, orange chicken, duck tacos, crab rangoons, and house fried rice. The Peking Duck even came with a hot stone to warm up and sear the duck further if you wish. They have a nice selection of cocktails, sake, whiskey, beer wine, and nonalcoholic drinks. The lychee-tini was delightful. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our server refreshed our beverages without having to ask. Highly recommend enjoying a meal here.

   The food was nice but nothing that stands out from other peer establishments, especially for the price you’re paying. Service was mediocre and so slow. We had noon reservations and our main course was served about 50 minutes later. And even though they knew we were sharing family style, we still had to ask them for some serving utensils. After we finished our meal, it took about 30 minutes to get our check. They just don’t seem to operate with a sense of urgency. This is definitely not the place to go if you have something else planned for the evening like catching a movie or show. It was a nice experience but not sure if we will ever go here again. (You’re better off just going to Morimoto Napa down the street.)

   I gave one star for service, not due to our server. He was great! He had the unenviable task of keeping us updated on our main course (Peking duck). it took what felt like a half-an-hou to finally arrive at our table. Everything else came quickly, but this last item took too long, in my opinion, particularly at the prices charged here. Granted, it was Valentine's Day, the place was packed, and there was a line to get in. However, other high-end restaurants handle large crowds and get the orders out of the kitchen. Not lost on our server was the fact that other tables who were seated after we were got their orders ahead of ours. The manager finally delivered the duck (which was delicious) to our table. While I appreciated the gesture, when issues like this have come up with other restaurants, the management comped something, or took an item off the bill. The server was apologizing for the delay, but no apology came from the manager. Not a good look. Since we have dined at various Morimoto restaurants, including both places in Napa, this was disappointing. I'm being generous, giving two stars overall. My wife and I will have to think about coming back to this restaurant again. The service needs to match the quality of the food.

   We didn’t know that there are 2 restaurants, one is Chinese and the other is Japanese. I thought I made our Valentines reservation for the Japanese one, but no, it was for the Chinese one. We were very disappointed about that. The food was ok at Morimoto Asia. Super expensive for Chinese food, but you’re in Napa. Their dim sum sampler was so disappointing. Their half duck was expensive and the portion is small for $55.

   My dining partners both had Ramens and were happy. My black cod was fishy and a bit tough. I mentioned it to the waiter and he told the manager and it was taken off my bill! Service was a bit slow, but the waiter was apologetic. I’d give it another try.

   The best Chinese food in Napa Valley, for sure, plus other Asian items. We had orange chicken and my favorite, Szechuan string beans. Fabulous!

   The experience (waitstaff, etc) was 5 stars. The food was mixed. Rib appetizer was excellent. Pork Bao wasn’t flavored as well. Black Cod was great but spicy pork with vegetables was just ok. And really had no vegetables, just a few scallions. Will go back to try other things but could not give it 5 stars across the board.

    Wait was longer than expected due to Napa Lighted festival (even with a reservation) however the server was excellent and once we ordered the food came out quickly. We enjoyed ourselves.
