An intimate and beautiful family-owned Mornington Peninsula winery and restaurant with vineyard views in the heart of premium wine country. Wine and olive oil grown on site, served with Italian-inspired share plates. Sunny terrace in fine weather, cosy cellar room when it’s cold. Estate wines and barbecued quail are specialties. Lunch dishes change seasonally, estate-grown wine tasting all year round.

Our deep dive into the terroir of this valley nestled in the Mornington Peninsula hills begins with an estate-grown sparkling wine on the terrace at Morning Sun and a meeting with your guide. We then take a gentle walk along the vine rows and have an in-depth personalised talk about the growth you see along the way. Taste the wines at your private table among the vines, then return to the winery.

    A delightful family meal in the open overlooking the vineyard and on a sunny day . The "let us serve you" option was chosen and we enjoyed the variety of plates that came through at suitable times. The wine (a white wine blend from the vineyards offerings) was excellent. Sitting outside enabled us to enjoy the ambience of the vineyard and the whole experience.

    This visit at Morning Sun was for a vineyard special event. It was a seafood lunch and accompanying wine experience. Compliments to the organisers and the chef for a wonderful day. The food was delicious and the wines excellent. I would definitely consider attending future events and recommend them. The winery is also a great place to visit at other times for a meal and/or tasting.

    Lovely venue and staff. A bit more moveable shade in a hot day would be appreciated. Or perhaps some cool evaporative cooling?

    We have been here quite a few times (twice in the past 8 days) and have never been disappointed. Our Granddaughter (16) loved it as well. Well done Morning Sun. We are looking forward to our next visit 👍
