Wonderful birthday dinner for my husband. From the minute I walked in, I was treated kindly and in a special way. The restaurant acknowledged my husband’s birthday in several ways. The waiter was superb and the food was excellent. A very nice evening. Thank you.

What went well - The waiter was friendly, personable, and apologetic, the meatball appetizer and the chocolate cake dessert were delicious, the extra little touches for our anniversary were very nice, and the offer of the free dessert as a final touch made our night. What went wrong - The wait time was excessive for everything. Fifteen minutes to be greeted at our table, then another 10 minutes before we got our water. 7pm reservation received entree after 8:30. Received two wrong dishes, our drink was served to the wrong table, and when we finally did receive our bill, the 17$ dessert was not free. At that point, the wait was so painful that we just paid the bill and left.

We went to Morton’s for my sons birthday. Everything was perfect. From the customized menu to a personal birthday card already at the table when we arrived, all top notch. The valet service was efficient in the middle of Light Up Night. We will definitely plan another visit.

Food took over an hour to come out. Lobster Mac and cheese was on the cold side and the green beans were completely charred and shriveled up to nothing. Steaks didn’t taste any better than they would at a longhorn steakhouse. Did not mention any of this to the waiter as every single table in our room had complaints and we knew it was not the waiters fault. We were lucky we got food at all as some people left without getting their food as it took too long. For $163, I was very disappointed in our experience here and we will not be going back.

Great food & service as always! I left my banana bread pudding behind and when I called they had saved it for me and we were able to pick it up. Just the best service! Thank you!

Having eaten at the capital Grille, we were disappointed in our meals at Morton’s. The ribeye steak was not nearly as tender and cooked more well done than our asking it to be medium. The king salmon was seasoned on the top, but not throughout the fish. It came with baby broccoli that seemed to be on the burnt side. Sadly, there was no description of how the salmon was seasoned or cooked. The truffle french fries looked and tasted more like McDonald’s fries. And the Brussel sprouts tasted on the tough side. It seemed to take the kitchen much longer than usual to serve us so we expected the meals to be more tasty than they were. Definitely understand how everyone’s tastebuds are different and others may have disagreed with our experience. We will give Mortons another chance in the next couple months to see if it was just an off night for the chef. For $200, we expected more. However, our waitress Samantha was excellent.

Some nice additions to the menu and all we tried were delicious. Can't go wrong with anything really. Service was excellent, helpful and knowledgeable about the new menu items.

Steaks were cooked perfectly. Overall entire meal was superb. Great service. Great meal. My favorite steak meal in Pittsburgh.
