Morton's The Steakhouse est le plus important groupe de steakhouses au pays.     This is suppose to be a high end restaurant, you would expect high end service. Our server was horrible, took an hour to get our alcoholic beverages, server was constantly disappearing, had to ask other servers to find our server "Erica". Had to request our food be wrapped up to go, request our check, never checked up on us during our dinner to see if we needed anything, never received salt or pepper as requested. The food was outstanding, great flavor and cooked perfectly. Food makes us want to return, but the service does not.

    Didn’t realize this was in the casino. The smell of smoke about did me in. Had a 6:30 reservation but couldn’t get seated till 7:00 even though over half the tables were empty the whole time we were there. It took forever to get our drinks and soups then our food came before we could finish the soup. We ordered our steaks medium but they were medium well. When we gave our card to pay the waitress carried it around while she delivered food to another table and took the order of another, then she disappeared for a while. We will stick with Landry’s at Union station. That was a much better experience and a better steak.

    Everything was amazing, except one thing. I ordered the Wagyu filet with lobster Mac. The filet was amazing, bursting with a strong salt and garlic flavor paired with the umami. The lobster Mac on the other hand was alright, some bites were amazing and flavorful while other bites were somewhat bland, like the seasonings weren’t cooked into the Mac and just added on top at the end. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

    The food was great. The service was OK. But it was freezing inside the restaurant and our waiter told us that there was nothing they could do about it. We wish we had brought our big coats.

    Normally, I would give our experience here five stars, as usually it is great. But tonight the entire restaurant smelled of sewage. It was apparently due to a sewer line break although this is unavoidable I feel like a message could’ve been sent to those of us in an email who had scheduled reservations for our Christmas dinner here. That way we could’ve made a decision whether to continue on with the reservation or to cancel it and eat somewhere that we didn’t have to smell the sewage. Also, our waitress was not attentive at all. She did not know the menu when ask questions about it. We had to specifically ask her for bread and butter to be brought out. When our meal was brought out, she forgot side dishes that was ordered. Our bill was wrong and had extra things added to it that had to be corrected. She told us our dessert would take 20 minutes to make. After 45 minutes I ask her if she could please check on it and she promptly brought it out. It had obviously been sitting there a while as the lava and the chocolate cake was completely gelled up. Normally love this place, but I will have to give it a second thought before I return for a special dinner again.

    servers and staff were delightful. You will never get over the "casino" smell until your seated, but once that's over and your at a table away from the public facing areas, it's a very nice experience.
