   First time here and thankfully went with a large group so we tried just about everything. Eggplant Hummus so creamy and yummy, fennel salad omg!!! Delicious chicken schnitzel, cooked perfectly crispy with lots of sesame seeds. Lamb kebab delicious. Desserts well we tried the pistachio cheesecake.. very unique and delicious also baklava which was great Service was outstanding I wish I had her name, so personable with great recommendations

   Motek is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I typically get the same dish (chicken shawarma) because I love it and the side salad with the mint honey vinegar dressing. To my complete surprise, they have completely changed the presentation of the dish to no longer include the salad and now the chicken comes on a pita and on top of tomatoes. The honey mustard is also on top of the chicken instead of on the side. It was a totally different dish and no longer nearly as enjoyable. My waiter was nice enough to bring me a side salad with the dressing but it was cabbage base and very bitter. The mushroom hummus and the fish were delicious but man am I heartbroken about these not so positive changes.

   We booked a table for 8 people on New Year’s Eve at 9pm. The reservation had been confirmed by the restaurant and myself several times. We were seated right on time. The food was delicious and our server very gracious. My issue was that we told after ordering our appetizers that the kitchen would be closing at 10pm. We were rushed to order our entrees and by the time we finished eating we were told there was no coffee because the were Closing. We were out the door in an hour. DON’T book 9pm reservations for people on New Year’s Eve and rush them out if you plan on shutting down at 10 pm. At the very least disclose this information when the reservation is made. Very disappointed!

   Babaganoush yummy. Pita bread is delish. Cocktails soso. Second time I ordered the chicken shawarma and both times came out cold. Out of the bottle of wine we wanted- service a little slow. Our table was too small for how quickly they brought the food.
