Moxies restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxies has over 50 locations across Canada and 6 US locations in Dallas, Houston and Miami.

We are a southeast Calgary restaurant located at the base of the Sandman Hotel & Suites Deerfoot Meadows Shopping Plaza. UPDATE; the restaurant manager asked if I could reach out so they could make it right, so I did and one week later… crickets. I’m assuming they just wanted Open Table to think they had actually made it right with their comment? If I could give negative stars I would. How disappointing. Our night might have been the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I made a reservation a week ahead for the dining room specifically. We showed up and were gaslit into thinking we hadn’t booked the dining room and were put in the extremely loud lounge, only to find out later that 3 other tables had also booked the dining room and were also moved to the lounge (including a family with very young kids) to accommodate a very large group that came in. That was just the beginning; we’re given waters with chunks floating in them, and one glass had some kind of stick in the bottom (maybe a twig?). I ordered a decaf coffee which came half full and cold. I wish I took photos as it was all so ridiculous. Our food took quite a long time to come out and once we were served dinner we were basically forgotten about. No refills of water, no one came to ask if we wanted dessert and we had to finally just ask for our bill. The food was good so I would go to a different Moxies but we will never go back to this location again. Horrible service.

My wife and I go here often. It is a nice restaurant and serves decent food.

Wow what a surprise! I seriously only booked here because everyone else was booked and they could get me in last minute on a Saturday, and I always overlook Moxie’s as I feel like it’s not good enough. Don’t even ask me where I got that from, I feel like a snob now. What an outstanding experience start to finish. The hostess were so friendly and kind, the server was amazing and kind and offered suggestions that were better, all of the serving staff that helped her with the food delivery were lovely. All asked if we needed anything else, never had that happen and server checked on us and so did the helpers. Often times when eat out, the food comes to the table warm or sometimes cold. I often feel I could do better and this food was served incredibly hot and in a way that I would never think to make something. I got the mango chicken and my husband got a burger and sweet potato fries. He is an incredibly picky eater, and he actually liked his burger lol. Often times it’s hard to get a decent burger at a restaurant and sadly I feel like I can get it at a fast food restaurant in better condition. His burger was amazing. I’ll definitely get it next time! It’s nice to see that they have classic and some unique options. they were actually quite busy and the service was super prompt!!! It’s definitely a well oiled machine. It takes a good team they’re all top notch! Definitely go! I will be back

Our server, Reece was great! So pleasant and prompt. We were there for a ‘holiday’ get together and she was super patient as we hadn’t seen each other for a while and hadn’t even looked at the menu. She gave her recommendations and let us move at our own pace. When we needed anything (like a group picture) she was great there too.

The soup of the day while tasty was supposed to have chicken in it and I only found one small piece of chicken in mine. The restaurant was not full but very noisy and hard to carry on a conversation with a senior who wears hearing aids.

Service and food were good. A little loud but we have been to louder. Needs more fabric on walls and windows to cut down noise.

I had not been to Moxie's for a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the more healthier choices. I will definitely go again soon!
