Opened in 2006 by world famous restaurateur Michael Chow, most recently awarded the 5 Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for its excellence, service, and cuisine this is the second post to the original in NYC on 57th Street. Mr Chow's latest & hippest location is surrounded by a Patio & the attractive bar opens at 5:00PM daily.

TriBeCa's Executive Chef Kwok Hor, is a highly respected professional in the Chinese Cuisine Industry & has given many lectures at The Hong Kong Culinary Association.

I go to Mr Chow’s uptown often and I have never had such poor food and service. To say the food tasted like strip mall Chinese was an understatement. Is there a way for me to connect with management.

Been to Mr chow for years. Tonight decided it has become a restaurant that needs turnover. Decent food that has abused its status. We turned up for a 10pm reservation, knowing this isn’t Miami, it also not Cedar Rapids. But we don’t want to be forced home after 30 minutes after making a reservation. After ordering with the utmost efficiency, I live in Tribeca, we appreciate our arrogance, it’s super weird to have 6 dudes hovering over the table shoving you out. A $400 dinner for two in a quiet night turns out to be a fun discussion with the hostess Monica who disregards you because she claims this is corporates behavior and not hers. Disgusting. We didn’t want to be ushered out like sheep. I hope some place better takes its places because it is looking emptier by the day.

The table was significantly too small for 5 people - Hardly enough space for the sharing meal concept of Chinese cuisine. We also had two young children without much appetite but needed to pay for the 3 course meal for the 5 of us to have access to their Beijing duck which wasn’t a great experience.

Perfect in every way. Always a top notch experience. Incredible food and impeccable service never disappoints. It was our anniversary and they surprised us with the sweetest dessert after dinner. Such a treat. Worth every penny.

Had reservation at 6pm was out the door at 635. Way to fast. Feel a bit rushed. Especially on a Saturday evening.

Food was good as it has been historically, but suddenly the portion size is less than half what it was before Noise level was unbearable- couldn’t here anyone at the table Better options available now days

I was shocked to find out that I needed to consume $75 x person to ah e dinner here Since when this is a rule ? It’s a major turn off and I’m for sure not every going back
