We had the most amazing time @ Mr Lobo, the food was outstanding. The whole concep and food was spot on!

We got great recommendations from our lovely waiter. He also was totally correct with the cocktail when I told him what I liked. Really good, well thought out food. We had the seafood civice, mussels, rice, two different beef dishes and a really good salad. We had a great meal.

We visited Mr Lobo due to the very good reviews & would say it lived up to expectations. Informal dining, good food, nice atmosphere & great friendly and attentive service. We will be going back as we enjoyed the tapas style food, great for sharing.

It's our 3rd time at this lovely cosey place. The staff, food and drinks are great. Only issue was they forgot our drinks order but quicky sorted when i reminded them. The food is so original, fresh, beautifully cooked and presented. I'd eat there every week if i lived closer. Amazing place. All the staff are so nice and you can tell they are proud of the restaurant and they should be. I think the owners are husband and wife, so a lot of love has gone into this independent jewell.

We had a lovely dinner at Mr Lobo. The ceviche mixto and the lomo saltado were delicious and so were the cocktails — try the Mamarama if you like something fruity and refreshing. Small improvements: the service could have been a bit better paced - our three appetizers arrived almost at the same time, leaving our small table quite crammed. Also, the pulled pork and salad seasoning could be a tad less sweet (but that’s just my own personal taste). The ambiance was nice and cosy and service was kind. We found it great value too and plan to go back!

Fantastic dinner at Mr Lobo whilst visiting Islington for concert. Cute small intimate setting yet still extremely professional service, very warm personal welcome and regular check-ins from the hostess/maitre d, would highly recommend. Every dish was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.
