We have been here for a number of meals and the service and food is always very good quality. Malvern is a favourite place to visit and it is great to have a good value and high quality restaurant to use also. The service was friendly and fast and the Sunday menu was a good choice and most importantly the food was a very nice (roast dinners).

We had a lovely meal, we had fish and chips which was the best I had in a restaurant for a long time. The service was just right, not rushed, but not waiting ages either. A all round great lunch.

Overall very disappointed with our meal. Our drinks took a good while to arrive, we ordered wine but the waiter just plonked the bottle on the table, didn’t open the bottle for us and we had do this and to pour our first glass ourselves… in fact we didn’t even have time to enjoy our first glass of wine before the food arrived less than a few minutes after we ordered it. The food clearly had been plated up hours before and re- heated with the gravy being poured on our plate over it instead if it arriving separately. Food was really not worth the price. It tasted re- heated and it tasted no differently from a well known frozen food manufacturers, the gravy was clearly branded granules mixed into a liquid. All the food was tasteless and not one item we were served looked freshly made, the carrots were grey. We ate what we had to as we were very hungry, but we did not order pudding, apart from my young son who needed his calories. We were disappointed as for the location and the price we experienced below par food, we eat out a lot in a variety of eateries ranging from a Michelin stared Kitchen to a MacDonalds and the food quality we were served today would have been lucky to pass itself off at a Toby Carvery.

The service was almost too fast - a 3 course meal in about an hour! It did feel a little rushed. Lovely food quality at a very reasonable price. Had a very interesting cocktail called a Corpsegrinder No2! Lovely open fire made it quite cosy. Would definitely recommend as a post-theatre dinner of great quality at a reasonable price.
