Everything excellent. However, they only have limited round table. Unless you request they will put you on usual basic table which are not shown in the photos.

First time to dine in at MuMian, did not disappoint at all. Service is excellent especially to Simon for the very professional service. He looked after us for the whole dining experience. Food is excellent especially the two course duck and the Wagyu dices on sizzling hot pan definitely melts in your mouth! Mud crab in butter sauce with noodles is fantastic too!. Very nice experience at MuMian will definitely going back again soon!

We have been to Mumian a few times but this was the first time we’ve been for dinner. The service of the staff is excellent however we have one complaint which has tainted our experience and doubt if we would come for dinner again. We chose to order the steamed barramundi which was priced at $68. The manager suggested we choose the Murray cod because it was a much nicer dish for only a ‘little bit’ (dor siu siu - in Cantonese) more in price. We should have asked how much ‘little bit more’ meant but trusted he meant well. The fish was average, sauce wasn’t flavourful enough but it was ok. When we paid the bill though it turned out they charged us $120 for the fish, nearly double the price. Even at a stretch I would not consider this ‘a little bit more’ than $68. If he had been honest and said the cod is a lot better but it costs $120 we would have still gone with hos recommendation but the fact that he deceived us into paying that much more for honestly an average fish was so disappointing. It was hardly a surprise that we heard him tell the next table to upgrade their fish also which makes me suspect they had an oversupply of Murray cod they were trying to pass on to unsuspecting customers. I politely spoke to the manager about it after and all he said was - it’s a much better fish and shrugged. Then he said ‘I will tell you the price next time’. We were so disappointed and it left a terrible taste in our mouth. A wonderful night ruined by this act. I will be posting this on Google as well so customers are aware and not be fooled by the managers recommendation. This is not the way to win loyalty from your customers. However the other waitstaff were attentive, polite and wonderful. Were it not for this it was a lovely experience.

My wife and I decided to venture to MuMian for dinner, drawn by its reputation and location on the slightly quieter side of the bustling Barangaru strip. While the evening had its highlights, there were a few quirks that made the experience memorable—though not always for the right reasons. Upon arrival, we were informed that the chef had decided not to serve food to guests seated near the entrance. This meant we could only order drinks while waiting for a proper table. After about 1.5 hours, we were finally seated. The wait was long, but we tried to stay patient, assuming the restaurant was busy. Once seated, we noticed that the staff seemed overwhelmed, making it a bit of an adventure to flag someone down for drink refills or additional requests. It felt like the crew was stretched thin, which took away from the overall experience. As for the food, it was good but didn’t quite live up to the hype. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, but we’ve had better at other restaurants in the area. It felt like MuMian is riding more on its ambiance and location than on standout cuisine. That said, the restaurant has a unique vibe, and the quieter setting is a nice change from the usual hustle and bustle of the Barangaru strip. While the evening had its challenges, it wasn’t a bad experience—just not exceptional. We’d likely try other spots first next time. If you visit, be prepared for a wait and consider asking for a table away from the entrance to enjoy the full menu.

The service and food at MuMian was excellent. The location is a small 100m walk to the ICC. We dined there twice before shows that were on at the ICC. They food came quickly and was so good. Highly recommend MuMian, we will dine there again. PS they had great cocktails too!!!

We went on what was probably their busiest night of the year and were impressed at how quickly the food came out. The food was delicious. It was so authentic that even my elderly Chinese parents said it was good. The waitstaff were great and very accommodating to our needs. Thank you MuMian for a very pleasant evening and enjoyable dining experience!

The overall dining experience was okay, but there are some areas for improvement. I arrived on time but had to wait for over 40 minutes. The dishes were served quite slowly, with around 30 minutes between each one. Later, when we wanted to order more, we were informed that the kitchen had already closed. I hope the restaurant can optimize its serving efficiency and service time for a smoother experience in the future.
