   We went to Mundo in Preston because we were going to a show at the Charter Theatre. The show started at 8pm. We booked to a table at 6.30. We arrived promptly and were sat immediately. Our order was taken at 6.45pm and we were warned that there would be a fifteen minute wait for our order. We said that was fine, that would give us 1 hour to enjoy the tapas. By 7.20 we were getting concerned, nothing had come out of the kitchen in that time for any table. Other diners were also getting concerned and started complaining. This seem to change the order in which food came out, complain and you got served. By 7.30, still no food, I complained and was told the food would be here soon. It finally arrived at 7.40 giving us about 10 minutes to eat it, it is simply not good enough. As the food was delivered we were told that someone had not turned in for work. The food was pretty good but we had no time to enjoy it! Do not go here if you are planning on seeing a show and have a deadline, you may well be disappointed.

   Only go to this restaurant if you want cold, mushy food & want to wait 45 minutes to receive it. It was awful, ordered meatballs that came out that cold i could stick my finger in them. They did replace them......with more cold meatballs!!! Also had the paella, mushy & cold. Same again was replaced with the same cold muck!! Granted these items were taken off the bill & the staff were apologetic but in my eyes there was no excuse, the restaurant wasn't even that busy!!

   Four of us came on Sunday for our evening meal. Booked for 5 o clock, it was quiet which was expected for being so early. The waitress took our drinks and food orders quickly, with both arriving within a relatively short period of time. The waitress was very friendly and helpful when recommending dishes. We got the buy one get one free offer that is currently running and managed to get 22 dishes (yes we ate a lot!) four drinks and 2 puddings for under £80 which is great value for money. We all throughly enjoyed the food and will definitely be returning

   Table service from staff was prompt and very friendly. Service was good even though it was a busy Saturday night. Food was excellent and portion sizes just right.

   Excellent food, service a bit slow which made us late for the concert but would go again leaving more time as we had to leave most of the main & all of the sweets, therefore making it quite expensive for what we actually ate.

   This was our first visit and we would certainly recommend it and shall return. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the service was excellent. The food was very good. All in all a very pleasant experience.

    My wife and I went for an evening meal and chose three tapas each and we couldn't fault the food it was very enjoyable I still think you need some fries on the side we shared one portion but should have got one each being greedy types.Nice bottle of red and pleasant service made for a nice occasion.Only downside is they bring all the dishes at once so by the time you get to the last ones they are getting cold so I'll have to remember next time to ask them to stagger delivery or order a couple and then order more afterwards.Other than that great.
