This was our fourth visit, haven’t been for a couple of years, must say if anything the food is even better, fantastic food and service

The food was amazing - we had the 9 course tasting menu for new years at lunch. The service was attentive and the staff were both knowledgeable but also down to earth and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The beef dishes were a big highlight - well presented and delicious. I’d strongly recommend having lunch or dinner here - it’s lovely!

we enjoyed an excellent dinner in a cosy and warm corner of the dining room. The service was professional, attentive without been too intrusive. Food was just over the top. We had both a-la-carte and set menu (6 dishes) and we were all satisfied by the quality of the dishes, the intriguing mix of flavours and the overall experience from an organoleptic perspective. The manager Daniel was excellent in his advice and discreet presence. The waitress (forgot the name, sorry!) was equally excellent. It was a very smooth evening as it is possible to park outside the restaurant after 6:30PM, smart move to encourage business. We stated to be back in Spring time when the new seasonal menu will be on offer.

We had one of our best, if not the best meal at Myrtle. A lovely experience from start to finish. Drinks in the wine bar next door before being warmly greeted and shown to our table. The restaurant is on two floors and pretty intimate but all diners were perfectly spaced…….everything has been considered. We had the nine course menu. Every single course shines and offers a taste sensation with perfectly balanced flavours and textures. Each offering comes with a snippet of information about its origin - providing another layer of interest. The team really have nailed it……The front of house service is exceptional- friendly, funny, knowledgeable and extremely professional, whilst the chefs create absolute magic in the snug kitchen. Anna is one clever and extremely talented chef. My husband had a very Happy Birthday (which was acknowledged). Thank you Team Myrtle!

A restraint that delivered on all fronts, from peculiar concoctions that challenge your ideas on food, to tried and tested but impeccably executed flavor combinations, all brought to you with the ever warm and welcoming hospitality the world has come to expect from Ireland. I have not a bad word to say about my families experience eating here and it’s definitely a standout highlight of our trip while visiting from the United States, needless to say we will back to Myrtle in the near future as we thoroughly enjoyed every dish.

Quality produce, excellently cooked- a really enjoyable experience with knowledgable staff who were really attentive. Loved the explanations of the story behind the dishes - well done with the Cremant Anna!

We had the Taste of Ireland 9-course tasting menu with the beef main and chocolate dessert options. There was loads of variety and we thought it was excellent value. All of the dishes were inventive and delicious, but the beef stuffed boxty was the thing that had us raving to friends and family. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We look forward to returning soon!
