We are the one Indian Restaurant in Norfolk (ref. Tripadvisor), featured in The Times as Britain's 8th best curry house & much more. Our recent survey showed that more than 70% of our regular customers are not vegetarian & do not miss meat when dining with us. I always love going to Namaste Village. The food is delicious, presented so beautifully, and there is a friendly, lively atmosphere. There are wonderful decorations on the wall, too. Plus, everything is either vegan or vegetarian, and both vegan and gluten free options are well-labelled in the menu, making it easy to find those many options. Everytime I have a visitor to Cambridge or a group outing, I propose Namaste Village, and Namaste is one of my favourite words.

The food was fabulous. The service was ok but it wasn't extraordinary, brilliant or out of this world. Just to provide some clarity, we paid for food and it was actually brought to our table. Believe it or not, The Nobel Prize for service was not required here. So why was I charged a non-negotiable £25.00 service charge on top of the bill?

We waited 5 minutes for the staff to notice us at the entrance, then seated, and after 5 minutes of no service, we left. Service and attention to detail is poor.

OK, but not great. A bit of confusion with the service. The ambience is very bright, doesn't feel like a dinner out. The vegan curries had a lot of sauce and too little solid pieces. The soy chicken is not very good. Overall the price of food is way too high for what you get.

the food was exceptional - the Thalis were quite a lot of food but nicely spiced and delicious. Dosa was really good too. But the Onion Bhajis were outstanding.

Really fantastic food and drinks. Very friendly and kind service. The staff always seem to remember when you last visited. I had the Dosa which was lovely. Vegan mango lassi was wonderful. My family loved their curries and chaat platter. Very good portions. Excellent value for money. If you are vegan then this is an essential place to come and experience whilst in Cambridge.
