    Something seemed a little off at this place. We arrived at 6 for an early dinner and a hoped for early departure. The place was fairly empty and we indicated a desire to order quickly. We ordered a drink which came quickly but the food service was very slow. We did not receive our entrees until an hour after we arrived. We finally asked for the bill and an order of dessert to go. The dessert took another ten minutes even though we could see the person who needed to box the item who wan't very busy. Maybe this is the pace of this place. The food was great but be prepared to have a leisurely meal. We probably won't go back unless we have plenty of time.

    I guess it’s been renovated since I was there before but it’s extremely brightly lit. I felt like I needed sunglasses in the bar. Service was great, food was good but would be better if atmosphere were toned down a little

    My husband and I had another wonderful experience at Napa this weekend. It has been one of our favorites in Charlotte for years, and the staff, service and food were once again outstanding. We were particularly impressed with our server Jefferson. His kind and engaging manner paired with his attentiveness made our night out a joy. And the food was fantastic as always. The Old Fashioned and the whipped goat cheese appetizer were both wonderful, and my husband enjoyed his stuffed chicken as much as I enjoyed my Napa Salad with the succulent shrimp. Thanks to the management at Napa for continuing to lead a joyful, hard-working team who create both beautiful food and a beautiful atmosphere. We'll be back soon!

    We recently dined at Napa on Providence to celebrate my daughters’ birthdays, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely outstanding and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend starting with the Goat Cheese appetizer—it’s a must-try. The Mushroom Ravioli was divine, and the Beef Bourguignon was simply amazing. The staff took exceptional care of us throughout the meal, making the celebration even more special. We can’t wait to visit again! If I could give Napa more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend!

    While I understand it was Christmas Eve and a special menu, I’ve never experienced this level of dining disappointment at Napa. I assume they must have been over booked and under staffed.

    I went there with my family for my mom’s bday. The restaurant itself looked nice. We were very disappointed in some of our food. I ordered Steak frites; it was very chewy. My sister in law’s steak frites was more rare; she ordered medium. We couldn’t find our waitress. We had to ask another waiter to get her. She apologized & asked if we wanted anything else. It took a long time to get our food again. I really liked the quiche. My sister in law’s salad was sadly soaked in dressing. But she didn’t want to complain again. My mom loved the same salad & it was perfectly dressed. So, there are clear inconsistencies in the kitchen. My husband ordered the Bistro Burger. He liked the fries, but the burger was soaked in sauce. The bun got so soggy & he couldn’t pick the burger up. So he sent it back & just asked for more fries. Again we couldn’t find our waitress; the same waiter got her for us. I noticed another waiter bringing a different table a burger & it looked perfect. So this further makes me think there are inconsistencies in the kitchen. The manager came by & apologized for everything & comped my husband for his burger (only charged for fries). They comped my steak; only charged for my quiche. For dessert, my parents shared bread pudding; it was amazing. My husband & I shared chocolate mousse cake; it was amazing. My mom received a cheesecake for free for her bday; it was very bland & dry. I would’ve preferred her get a few dollars off her bread pudding. Overall, I wouldn’t go here again. I was very sad because my family came here in 2021 for dinner & it was amazing. I wanted my mom to have a special bday. Thankfully my mom really loved her salmon & her salad. But the clear lack of consistencies in the kitchen with quality of food makes it not worth it to me.

    I don't write reviews of restaurants, but our experience last night compelled me to provide feedback for the first time. We took my mother to a show followed by dinner at Napa - where we have been to before and had a very nice experience. Last night was not a repeat of that experience. We arrived early after the show, but was seated fairly quickly, but in the patio section of the restaurant. Since it was in the 40's, it was a little surprising that this was even an option, which it was not on Open Table's reservation. Considering the how busy the place was, I assume they opened it up to accommodate additional patrons. There were space heaters around the perimeter, but we were the first ones in the room, so they must have just started up the heaters and it was not warm enough to begin with and never warmed up adequately enough. As someone who expected a table/booth inside as the reservation stated, sitting in the patio area was not ideal and after two hours became very uncountable. The outdoor metal tables were cold, and our red win actually became chilled. As for the food, the appetizer and salad were good. As for the entrees, it was over 30 minutes for the waitress to address the delay in getting them and said the manager will come out to talk with us. He did and apologized several times saying it was not how things are done at Napa. He offered a free refill of our wine. Also gave my mother his card to come back on him. Unfortunately it took another 15 minutes to get the entrees. We were ready to walk, but the food finally did come. Fortunately it was very good. The manager came out again and comped the entrees, but not the entire meal. We were fine with that, but the "free" refill of wine he first offered was actually charged on the bill. Must not have told the bar. Everyone else seated in the patio after us was served. Overall, good food, cold environment, terrible overall customer service, nice attempt at fixing the issue, but short of the goal.

    We waited over an hour before our food came out. It was hot and very good. I think they forgot our order. Other tables came in after us were served before us

    Restaurant has an excellent menu with many choices of wine. Food was well prepared and our server made excellent recommendations on what to try. Service was well done and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
