   This was our first trip to this gem in the North Hills. Considering the number of great restaurants in the city, it was a stretch to drive from Shadyside to try this spot. But absolutely worth it. The pork chop with a pomegranate sauce was outstanding and paired well with the side of Brussel sprouts. My wife loved the prime rib and our guest who celebrated her 91st birthday ate every bite of her petite filet. Great spot for a special occasion. Napa Prime is well staffed and the service was A+.

   I had not been here in 5 years and wanted to experience it again. It did not disappoint. Foos.was exceptional. Salads were huge and could have been shared. I hope you bring back the ahi tuna appetizer with chocolate. That was memorable.

   The noise in the restaurant was louder than the previous times that we dined there. It was difficult to hear the server talking about the specials that were available that evening. Must have been the holiday atmosphere. I enjoyed the dry aged NY strip steak very much. The Caesar Salad was a great appetizer. Everyone’s meal was delicious and we look forward to the next time we dine there.

   What happened to this place?? First, the hostess comes to tell us that we need to leave the bar to go to our table immediately because there were groups behind us for dinner. It was 6:12 for our 6:00 reservation. The bar was empty. Our table was in the bar. Then we order and our food arrives. My steak looked like something my mother would buy at the Kroger (when we still had them here) as it was 1/4” thick for my ribeye. My guests Strip looked the same. They maybe weighed 10 ounces and they were overcooked and tough as leather. Sides were fine. Horrible experience and I will never go back. I didn’t realize the Ditka’s had returned disguised as Napa Prime. Stay away!!

   The food and service were both amazing. We went for the first time for our 20th anniversary and definitely plan to go back for special occasions. We noticed how well the staff worked together as a team to make the service top notch.

    Celebrated my birthday there tonight. Top notch service from start to finish. The seafood tower is very unique because it’s smoked and served warm, highly recommend. Loved the steak and sides. The decor is elegant and not overly masculine and dark like most steakhouses. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal and experience. Thank you!
