The inspiration for Needle and Thread came from the history of the space located at 45 Peck St. in Downtown Providence. For more than half a century Antonio Conte dutifully served the professionals in the city's center, with an old world style haberdashery, providing suits, outerwear and evening attire. For more than 2 years Needle and Thread was constructed piece by piece with the same attention to detail and love as Mr. Conte poured into every garment he constructed.

We're starting with our Galentine's Cocktail Class, where we'll shake, stir, and sip our way through delicious cocktail recipes. Our hands on experience will teach you the art of mixology while you bond over shared laughs, good drinks, and of course good vibes. Enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres during the class, fun giveaways, photo ops, and more. Come for the class stay for the vibes, we'll have drink specials all night, half off apps till 8pm, sounds by Sega Gen till 12am. It'll be celebration for sure! We'll be toasting to love, laughter, and friendship all night!

Needle and thread is always a great place to go and enjoy some craft cocktails and great music. Food is always top notch and the service is always great.

Went for a later dinner res on a Saturday so it was busy and bar area started to get packed around 1030. Overall great food. Staff was kind and service was a little slow at the end due to the crowd, while we were waiting for our check. Music was great. Loud but solid. I went on a date night. I would go back again but probably with my girlfriends or maybe make an earlier res on date night

The portion sizes of the entrees were small and we were actually still hungry after we finished. That would be my biggest complaint was the value you got for $95 when the three course meal gave a small appetizer, small entree and three donut holes

A Good Spot for Drinks and Apps, but Double-Check Your Bill We visited this spot for the first time for a Friday date night, arriving around 6:30 pm. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which was nice for an early evening out. We decided to take advantage of their "Appy Hour" menu (weekdays 5-7 pm), offering half-priced appetizers. We ordered oysters, the flatbread with prosciutto, and four drinks. The food and drinks were excellent, especially the oysters and flatbread. However, we were charged full price for the appetizers, and unfortunately, we didn’t realize it until after we left. A small oversight on our part, but it’s worth mentioning—be sure to double-check your bill. The only other hiccup was the temperature; it was a bit chilly inside until about 7 pm. That said, it’s a cool spot with a nice vibe, and the quality of the food and drinks made up for the small inconveniences.

They were closed when we got there. They had called me to confirm while I was in the Providence Performing Arts Center seeing Hamilton but I was unable to answer during the show. I was not told they would close early (before 10p), only that they close at 11p, which I assumed was fine.

Wow, nice surprise. First time here and on a Friday night. Place was a buzz. Food was limited, but very good. The servers were all very pleasant. Can not remember the last time I was at a restaurant and all the help was so happy to make me happy. Very fun.
