The inspiration for Needle and Thread came from the history of the space located at 45 Peck St. in downtown Providence. For more than half a century Antonio Conte dutifully served the professionals in the city's center, with an old world style haberdashery, providing suits, outer ware and evening attire. For more than 2 years the Needle and Thread was constructed piece by piece with the same attention to detail and love Mr. Conte poured into every garment he constructed.

Great meal at Needle & Thread before a show at PPAC. Open table booking was super easy. Drinks were delicious, though they were out of the ingredients for the first requested. The food was great as well. I had the fish & chips and hubby had the blackened chicken sandwich which was definitely the winner of the night,

Fantastic cocktails, food and playlist except when it was turned up way too loud around 8pm and there were only about 10 people there.

We celebrated my friends birthday yesterday and let me tell you we had a great time, our wonderful servers Marissa and Ashley were amazing and were always checking in on us to make sure our drinks stayed full and that we were having a great time. Marissa was so amazing , she always came over to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed and at the end she allowed us to stay to close and never once rushed us to pay our tab. I could not have asked for a better server than Marissa. I will def be coming back to Needles and Thread and recommeding it to my friends and family. ❤️

It was my first time at Needle & Thread, and I will definitely be going back. Sunday night seems to be a low-key night for them and the place was wonderfully quiet, perfect for a good conversation. However, I hear they also have dancing their other nights, which I’m sure is a different vibe. The food was absolutely delicious.

Always a great time. Highly recommend securing reservations in advance. The food is great.

Great deals on food during “appt hour”. Food and drinks were on point. Great vibes and ambiance overall. Will visit again!

They said they were open … we also got a reservation … waited for a good half hour … were not open.

The whole group loved all the food and drinks. The music was awesome. I can’t say enough great things about the staff as well. We were a large group enjoying each others company and were left to our own devices. Yet every time someone needed a drink or more bites, servers were always there to take an order. It was the perfect balance of attentiveness. We love our visit
