A fantastic meal again at Nice Matin. Our favorite French restaurant in NYC! I had the Hanger Steak and my wife loved her salmon. Both amazing as always

From the moment we checked in for our reservation to the last bite of dessert, we were met with warm greetings and perfect service. We started with drinks. The Pear Margarita was so good I had two! The ARTICHOKES PARMESAN hors d’oeuvre was so amazing. I wanted more! (And the recipe!) My husband got the ANGUS HANGER STEAK and practically licked the plate clean. Oh the mashed potatoes!!! So creamy. I had the POULET RÔTI, and the chicken was moist, and the sauce was the perfect compliment to it and some of those fluffy potatoes! Did I mention the roll? I am such a bread snob, and love when I can rip open a warm roll! Even better when you dip it in the saucy cheese and sauce of the artichoke! Coffee, cheesecake and some apricot sorbet to finish off the meal. Literally one of the BEST MEALS we have had in a very long time and a definite must when we are in town and the vicinity.

There is a simple reason why we have returned to this restaurant. Every meal here has been excellent. Our dinner last night was great and we I am writing this while waiting for my breakfast here.

Sunday brunch. Overall was good but our particular waitress could have been a little more attentive: E.g. Had to ask for salt and pepper,had to request refills on coffee, etc.

When we arrived it took forever to get our drinks , food, and had to ask too many times and too many waitstaff for maple syrup for our French toast . When it did come, the service gave us more than enough but it had been over ten minutes The last time I came here in a Sunday for brunch we had the same problems Stick to lunch and dinner during the week and you will be much happier
