Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    Fabulous place. We enjoyed the food. The service was great. Of course the view from this restaurant is amazing. The decor is also lovely. We have been here several times and will be coming back. The bar area has a variety of types of seating making it very inviting.

    I had a great visit. They say me early and although they took about 8-10 minutes before taking my wine order all was great. I suspect it took them awhile to take my wine order because they sat me early. It was fine

    View is stunning but food was not good. Felt like the menu had an identity crisis. Server was not very refined, somewhat unprofessional which didn’t match the quality of the restaurant.

    Terrific meal, great service from everyone and Allison was so helpful. Get the Brussels Sprouts! Fries w/garlic aioli too - but all was good and well-prepared. Great space and views.

    Very tatapa style dining, but the food is worth it. All the different flavors that go very well together. So good. The view is amazing. That can’t be said enough. ESPECIALLY, sunsets.

    This place is absolutely beautiful! We sat in the bar area and everything was perfect! Our server/host for the evening was so amazing and took excellent care of us. We got a few drinks- sorry, the names of which escape me but they were awesome!! We also got a couple of appetizers- The burrata (amazing) and a Red Snapper Ceviche dish that was small but honestly super tasty. We will be back for sure! Nido is such a beautiful place to spend time in. An absolute must go!! Ughhhh!! I LOVE AUSTIN!!!!

    I love this place so much. I’ve been a handful of times and the staff is always so wonderful and welcoming. The cocktails are gorgeous. The food is delicious. The view is gorgeous even in the winter when so many of the trees are bare. It is just idyllic.
