Could be a bit more generous with the bourbon pour. Food and service were terrific.

Lovely birthday celebration for my husband! I had called in advance to try to secure a quieter table for my 95 yr old mom which the restaurant honored. Fun ambience with very good service even tho the restaurant was very busy. Host was somewhat overwhelmed and handled the sudden onslaught of diners efficiently. The food was delicious, easily as good as excellent restaurants in Boston. In particular, we ordered the calamari to start and the Salmon and Ratatouille Entrees were fantastic! I would not hesitate to go back! In fact, I can’t wait!

First time at NineBark, used to go when it was The Local. Food was great, pork chops, sole francais, and fish and chips, salmon and crab cake to start. Service and ambience were both great, will def be going back.

We Made a Good Choice! Four of us had dinner on a Friday evening. At entry, the restaurant was bustling and they promptly sat us at our table (as requested a low table vs a high top). The wait staff was very friendly and patient with us - despite being very busy. They have a large screen TV over the bar area, however it was not distracting at our table. Overall, even though we were near the bar area, we could easily talk amongst ourselves without shouting...a huge plus and good reason enough to return. No loud music playing...a plus. I like that the food menu was varied with lighter choices as well as traditional entrees. Three of us had salads - Cobb, Ninebark with added chicken and salmon. They were all delicious, well stocked with extras and very filling for a meal. The lettuce and dressing were especially excellent. My companion loved the salmon. My husband had the burger and he opted for a side salad rather than fries. Burger was good with a tasty roll and the salad was very generous and delicious . The drink menu was carefully selected (lots of beer choices) and the wine by the glass options were great. Overall - great value for the money, and I will be back again.

The server was very friendly and didn't rush us to order. The salads were fresh, large, and very good. The extra chicken was plentiful but overspiced. The grilled cheese sandwich with bacon was said to be delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and will return but hope the strong cleaning scent in the women's room will be gone.

Service was very slow at first but got better. Drinks were tiny-1/2 a martini for full price. Steak was small but very good. Pizza- not a fan.

Great to see that the former Local has a good follow on Restaurant...Good menu...disappointed that the Pizza oven was down....However the other choices were more than enough.
